We Believe

At LLIT Publications, we believe in doing whatsoever we do, as unto the LORD, and not as unto men (Col. iii. 23.); therefore, our publications (in the fear of GOD) seek to render unto Him (FATHER, SON, and HOLY SPIRIT), the reverence due to His Holy name; remembering that one does not approach, speak, nor worship the KING of kings, as he would a common and sinful mortal.

The subject matter contained in our publications, is of the utmost importance, seriousness, and solemnity; and, we believe that the presentation thereof (although modest), ought to reflect a certain soberness. We believe that there is but one Church, one SPIRIT, one LORD, one Faith, one Baptism and one FATHER (Eph. iv. 4-6.); and that, it is our duty to “earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints” (Jude 3.) and, “to hold fast [to] the form of sound words” (1 Tim. i. 13.); which is, according “to the law and to the testimony” (Isa. viii. 20) to which, we “shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it” (Deut. xii. 32.).

We also believe that it is our duty to teach such a Faith, by the means of such Scriptures (as given by GOD and preserved pure, providentially, and miraculously in all ages; and that, only in the Massoretic Text, for the Old Testament; and, in the Received Text, for the New), to the following generations and that, until the return of our blessed LORD (Mat. xxviii. 19, 20.). Our heart’s desire is, that as many as the LORD calleth, might be saved, edified, and sanctified (Rom. x. 1 & viii. 30; 1 Thes. iv. 3 & Heb. xii. 14); and that, for the glory of His name.

It is in that spirit, and in striving “to have always a conscience void of offence toward GOD, and toward men” (Acts xxiv. 16.), that we select and publish our literature. As to those who disregard the Law and the testimony, and either add or diminish thereto, we believe that “it is because there is no light in them” (Isa. viii. 20.); and that—unless GOD enables them to repent—His impending judgment is upon them: “every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book. If any man shall add unto these things, GOD shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: and if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, GOD shall take away his part out of the book of life” (Rev. xxii. 18, 19).
